So pissed...the Big Ten network in my area showed the Michigan State Game last night and then the Penn State Hockey game. No Michigan...not even on tape delay. Same thing for tonight. I was hoping t scout our boy a little bit.

Love the hextall shout out. I think he also holds the team record for most playoff wins as well and of course most goals as a tender. .

Does anyone know how you can watch the college hockey games online or through an app with price/options?

Does big 10 network usually show big 10 hockey games? Michigan in particular?

Mark Howe was one of my favorite players as well... looking forward to listening to that podcast.

Thanks to Bill and Jason for their hard work and making all this great Flyers stuff available during this unlikely November offseason!

Michigan has been shutdown for three weeks as of Wednesday. I don’t know how this effects sports but I currently cannot go out unless it’s for the essentials.

I wasn't sure what to expect from York (how high to get my hopes up)

after comparing his offensive production on the US National Team to other top end defensemen to come out of the system (better than Quinn Hughes and Charlie MacAvoy) I think we have reason to be excited

and he's got a strong defensive game to go with his offensive skills

Man we are lucky to have so many skilled players come through Philly !
On a side note , on YouTube there used to be a Hextall video that was 12 minutes long. Pure mayhem. It was set to a crappy redo of Kashmir by PDiddy. My wife at the time wasn’t into hockey. She is now but when I showed her the video she couldn’t believe this guy played goal

I seem to recall reading that its exactly because there are people who might "have a problem" that they are considered essential. If they suddenly all suffer from withdrawal symptoms that would flood the hospitals.

York’s offseason work doing wonders. He did ok last year, but if this continues, what’s the over under on him signing at the end of his season?

York played with one of the greatest US U18 teams of all time, so it's really unfair to compare numbers with Hughes and McAvoy.

Possible but highly doubtful. I’ll put you down for him not signing though.

And thanks Debbie

Good news is he was still an important piece to that team.

there's variables that mean it's not an identical comparison, but it's still indicative of exceptional performance

the likes of which I'm not used to getting from the 5th defenseman taken in the draft. I think Philly got lucky with what other teams ahead of them in the draft chose to go after when they passed on York
